Happy belated new years! I wasn’t the type of person who’d write down some goals to achieve for new years or something. However, lately, I’ve been trying to experiment with new things and do things out of my comfort zone. So, here are my goals for 2020:
Read 12 books. I’m planning on reading one book each month then answering some reading-guide questions and write down my own thoughts/comments about the book.
Blog more. My blog has turned into a haunted house now! Suddenly, you see a blog post and then for months there’s nothing! I’ll do my best to change that and be more active here!
Being environmentally-friendly. I’ve read about many things that we use in our everyday lives that are SO harmful to the environment and I want to reduce my usage of them. My main aim is: using less single-use plastic.
Eating healthier. I always wanted to have kind-of-clear skin, I also switched to an almost-natural skincare routine. I’m still at the early stage of finding out what works for my skin and what doesn’t. You must be thinking that how is that linked to eating healthier… Well, I want to work on the inside as well. Eating healthy isn’t just helpful to your skin. Your whole body will thank you and I want my body to thank me.
Have a successful semester at uni. I will try my best to plan everything and understand the concepts of the new courses I’ll be taking.
Not seeking perfection anymore. If you’re been following me for such a long time (thank you!) you’ve probably noticed that I have a love-hate relationship with Instagram. My main problem is that I’m always seeking perfection. I’ll do my best not to care about that anymore. Plus, having a perfect Instagram is NOT important.
Be an informed consumer. I don’t want to just buy something and enjoy it. I want to know how it came, it’s ingredients and is it ethical or not.
Start embroidering. I finally found embroidery hoops and I cannot wait to start experimenting and trying&failing with it!
So, as you can see your girl has many goals to achieve. I hope by the end of 2020, I can make myself proud. What are your goals for 2020?
